Current efforts:

Editor and Podcast Host at Neo News Today
Founder of Neo Colorado

I’m a writer, builder, and connector with an academic lense who has lived in various parts of the US. While living in California, I discovered a deep passion for rock climbing, notably the Sierra Nevada, which is well known for its style of crack climbing.

Prior to discovering blockchain and cryptocurrency, I was an urban planner with a small personal finance hobby. This hobby helped build a comprehensive understanding of finances, tax strategies, and economic philosophy versus reality.

With regards to my academic background, I have an undergraduate in Interdisciplinary Social Sciences from Florida State University and a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Colorado – Denver. For many years, I was a transportation planner and advocated for improved transit networks and a national high-speed rail infrastructure.

Dismayed with the pace of traditional urban planning processes, I began to explore blockchain and cryptocurrency not only as a personal financial tool but also what the technology offers society at a broader, global scale.

I began to cover the NEO Smart Economy ecosystem extensively in January of 2018, and attended the first Neo DevCon in San Francisco, February 2018. Since then, I’ve attended the second Neo DevCon in Seattle, WA (02/19) and the Neo Community Assembly in Shanghai, China (09/19).

In November of 2018, after more than five years in the urban planning field, I left a planning position with the County and went full time with Neo News Today.

In addition to my Editorial role with Neo News Today, I’m also the host of the NNT pod. My first episode (episode 13 with Narrative) aired on August 7th, 2019, and have been keeping to posting two episodes a month since.

I’m also the founder of Neo Colorado. NEO Colorado is a local community effort that seeks to engage, educate, and build with the developer and blockchain enthusiast community of Colorado. In 2019, Neo Colorado hosted 14 events, which included informal meet-and-greets, developer workshops, a panel discussion, plus more..

Other roles I’ve held as a freelance content creator have included:
